Breakfast was a disgrace, No Bre, No sweet rolls, No waffles. No a good representation of a Best Western Plus. Not worth the price charged. I asked about local places for dinner. I was sent to a place that was closed permanently.Spearfishing my 138kg Black Marlin off Brisbane while looking for Mackerel
I will not return. The manager should be fired. You can't blame Covid for everything. Room was clean, staff was great, super friendly. We called at the last minute to get a room and they were very accommodating to get the room ready as we were traveling with my 80 year old disabled father.
We arrived late in the day, having driven from Iowa. On the outside it looks rustic, but well-cared for. We checked-in easily. The lobby was nice and the breakfast area was right off of it. We were on the second floor. Warning: there are no elevators. Our room was great. Good decor, clean, no odd smells.
The bathroom was also nice and clean and plenty of room. We had a great night's sleep. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Our TV had a ton of channels. AC was very quiet. The Ice Machine was on the first floor, though, so a bit of a walk. The refrigerator kept our waters nice and cold. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Seating was good at 8am. Waffles were nice. Nothing to complain about. So a great place to stay near the Wyoming border.
The place is a little pricey but that is due to the time and area.
Everything was clean and up to date. We were in town for a marathon so we missed breakfast. When we were checking out the staff manager? That was a great touch! The kids were so happy about that. Even though we spent little time there it was a great stay. The building is well maintained and has an attentive staff. The breakfast offered is a basic one for Best Western In addition to the hotel being easily accessed from the Interstate, it is a short, pleasant walk into the historic downtown. Before leaving town, be sure to visit the National Fish Hatchery.
It's free and worth an hour or more of your time. Very disappointed with this Best Western. Thermostat didn't work, food and coffee cold and coffee was horrible, you can hear people walking very loud from upstairs, ac didn't work properly. Worst Best Western I ever stayed at. Front desk nice and beds were comfortable.KZN South Africa spearfishing Queen Mackerel tutorial part 3
Those were the only positives. On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations.
I can not tell if you reported your thermostat to the Front Desk. However with that being said, had the Front Desk known about it, there is a few things we could have done to fix the problem. We remodeled our property 2 years ago and we take pride in keeping it up.
Thanks again for your feed back and we hope you have safe travels. We requested first floor upon reservation and got it and could park in front of our door. There are hallway doors and outside doors which was convenient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I always look to big detail and how good the attention is to it.
You can tell this building has likely been redone as nooks and cranny's had not been vacuumed thoroughly and there was food left in the refrigerator we had to dispose of - thus the 4 stars. The man at the front desk every day was quite unfriendly.Spearfish queen looking for 1 black king
