Frustrated with having to browse multiple sites to keep up with the latest information, the creation of HYPEBEAST allowed for the latest news to be broadcasted through one specific medium. HYPEBEAST continues to inform and inspire trendsetters around the world. The growth of HYPEBEAST has seen its focus transcend from its initial roots to encompass all forms of fashion, arts, design and culture — making it the premier online magazine for cultural enthusiasts, tastemakers and influencers alike.

Due to significant growth in the region over the last 12 months we require an experienced media planner to help support the existing and future brand partnerships team. The role of the media planner is to ensure our clients are being delivered the optimum projects using existing production and distribution channels. As a new role to the team, there is also an emphasis on implementing new ways to enhance client and consumer experiences. The ideal candidate has to be self motivated and keen to make the role their own. They are highly numerical with strong organisational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to make a large impact on a growing team through leading by example.

 

Job Duties :

  • Assess and implement new processes to enhance future brand projects
  • Work with finance to ensure smooth workflow, including but not limited to assisting Finance with credit and collections, collating vendor payment information, ensuring completed campaigns and projects are billed on a timely basis, and manage and maintain internal margins, amongst other duties
  • Plan, check and optimize media plans to ensure client KPIs are met
  • Regularly attend internal brainstorming sessions and input accordingly
  • Act as a conduit between sales, production and creative teams when planning client projects
  • Develop our existing CRM to help with cross region alignment
  • Work with global team to align on rate increases, product developments and sales collateral
  • Help improve global processes and workflow

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 years in a similar role at a media agency, creative agency or publisher
  • Proven experience in the digital advertising space, especially across social media
  • High levels of pricing formats including CPM, CPV, CCPV, CPC, CTA
  • Knowledge of Programmatic buying and DFP is preferred+ Strong experience of using Excel or Google Drive
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight schedule and pressure
